Entering a contest on FameWeaver is straightforward and completely free. First, create a FameWeaver account if you haven't already - this takes about a minute and doesn't require a credit card. Once you're logged in, upload your story through your dashboard by clicking "Add Story" and selecting your manuscript file. We accept Word documents (.docx), PDFs, and plain text files. After your story is uploaded, browse our Contests page to find competitions that match your genre. Each contest page shows the genre requirements, minimum score needed to enter, prize amounts, and deadline. If your story meets the requirements, simply click "Enter Contest" and confirm your submission. There are no entry fees on any FameWeaver contest - we believe every writer deserves a fair chance regardless of their financial situation. Your story will be timestamped and locked at the moment of submission to ensure fairness.
